Director Franci Slak dies

Franci Slak, a film and television director, passed away yesterday, at 55. He took leave just before finishing his latest feature film. His most impressive work was television series about our greatest poet, France Prešeren, broadcasted on our TV upon 200th Anniversary of his birth. Not long ago, at the Festival of Slovenian Film in Portorož, Franci Slak regretted he could not present an autobiographical, low-budget movie, On Earth as it is in Heaven (Kakor v nebesih tako na zemlji)
