Even though I'm not gay at all I really do think that it comes at birth. You could live with the straightest parents in the world and still be gay. It would suck to not be able to marry someone you love. Plus it doesn't matter what those people think because gay marriage is alowed now.

First cousins and multiple marriages should be allowed by law. There is not one thing legally anyone should be able to say about it.

been the one common denominator that all marriages in HISTORY have started from. And, even then, there are any number of exclusionary clauses which can prevent marriage, such as parents marrying children, first cousins marrying, mentally incompetent people marrying, multiple marriages, age of consent etc. So your arguement only works if marriage is a civil right. There are just too many laws which forbid certain behavior based on qualification. We'll see if it holds up.

zav:"marriage is a privilage confered on people by the consent of society" However, once the law got involved (Government making laws allowing one group of people to be married and another not), they violated the Constitution and made it mandatory that they give an equal protection under the law to allow Gay people to be married. Had Government not gotten involved and allowed one group to do something legally, we would not be arguing this issue on a "Rights" platform.
