I haven't used a clip from the Daily Show or any Viacom material in my videos for almost six months, but, last week, when Matt Groening, creator of "The Simpsons," appeared on the Daily Show, he revealed information of such public interest about how Fox News assesses its own viewers, I had to make this video. The Pew Research Center survey of public knowledge of current affairs to which I refer in my video is available at: http://people-press.org/report... Also, the Daily Show interview with Matt Groening from which I fairly used a short clip in my video is available in full on the Comedy Central website at: http://www.thedailyshow.com/vi... Finally, more information about the March 2003 episode of "The Simpsons," titled "Mr. Spritz Goes to Washington," from which I fairly used a short clip in my video is available at: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt07...

Nice editing job. I think Fox News viewers are extremely naive to the point it is sad. They don't think for themselves. And their debating techniques are immature and they resort to name calling. I unfortunately have argued with them on youtube lol! I shouldn't but sometimes it's very tempting.

I think the viewers of Fox News would fall for that because anyone who watches fox news and believes it is a fucking moron.

shoes1922...Are you telling me that you think that people can actually tell that clearly identical rendoring of the fox news program is not the real thing? If I wasnt told it was fake I would have gone on oblivious that it was a Simpsons cartoon.

I don't see much difference though... In this one the colors are a little more saturated and the people appeare wierdly yellowish, but appart from that both are stikingly similar.

U must be one of the dumb ones that would mistake it. R u saying ur grown children would not know the difference? Fox assumes everybody has a second grade education.
shoes1922 (July 18, 2008 at 12:59 pm)
Why the fuck would some dumb ass think during a simpsons episode that a real news flash would come on with the cartoon itself still on? Fox is talking about u, u seriously cant tell the difference!
