it really dumbfounds me why beckham was so poor taking free kicks in international matches. he has scored against greece, ecuador, colombia, mexico, azerbaijan.....surely not the best footballing countries but on the other hand has scored agains barca, real madrid. while he was great for man utd, he cannot take free kicks anymore. why do i say that? 20 plus los angeles galaxy matches ive seen him play in. his last free kick was against the shortest keeper in the mls against real salt lake.

didnt know that, watching this video makes me realise what a strange art it is to be a prolific free taker like Beckham was, the best free kick taker ever, surely?

my god i'll actually sign in to comment on this. some of these are just amazing. i can't believe how many times he puts it right in the absolute reaches of the goal. incredible. you have to wonder how many times he has done that

As i said, he is one of the all time best freekick takers and his passing is especially long range is superb, but no he is not gog and is not or has never been the best player ever...that title belongs arguably to Maradonna (and im an englishman!!) have a look at him on this web site...He is a cut above anyone i have ever seen...Different class.
