typically if a video card can't support a 3d application like the "cube" it won't implement it. have you checked the 3d window box? I'm using compiz on the gutsy about to switch up to heron

what plugin is the one that move the windows to show the one you click on?
nelsonivi (August 26, 2008 at 8:56 pm)
It isn't a plugin as such. It's part of the Animation plugin which comes as standard, you just need to enable it. Compiz Settings Manager > Animations>Focus Animation Tab>Animation Selection>Double Click 'Focus Effect'> Change Focus Effect to Dodge > For extra eye candy slow the speed to something like 1000. Sorted.

Do you have a fresh install? Install the compizconfig manager. Open your terminal then type without the quotes "sudo apt-get install compizconfig-settings-manager". This will install the advanced desktop settings for compiz. Then go to systems>preferences>advanced desktop settings. You could set your cube there. Don't forget to make your workspace into 4 in the general settings.
