I too am shocked that all the Lanza movies and ESPECIALLY this one have note been released domestically. I've been checking and checking... I was pleased when his first 2 came out together and was expecting them to roll out the rest!

I'm waiting for MGM to put out their domestic edition. The two currently available on Amazon are asian imports that have been reported to be technically inferior.

I always thought "The Great Caruso" was to budding tenors what "The Red Shoes" was to baby ballerinas! I don't understand why MGM hasn't put this on DVD yet - with extras and perhaps interviews with Lanza's son and the surviving stars, such as Ann Blythe and Lucine Amara.

as one who was a kid and listened to his voice, I never had the education to know what was being said, or maybe some of the stories of the music, but I do know music of the soul, and it's with that, we connected, tha man had a gift from the Heavens, and when it was time it was taken with him back to the heavens...what a blessing to have the clips, I thoroughly appreciate it, a special thanks to Tenor65, for the treat. peace

right, second is Torna a Surriento (Come back to Surrento) ive checked a lot versions but i liked lanza's the most, because only he did turn his voice up that high and beautiful. and i've only seen caruso doing this in another song (Mi Par D'udir Ancora)
