There's very little violence, but if you like the Carpenter one, you should check out the old one too. Even more, check out the original short story. :)

Yeah I would definetly recommend it. Being that it was made in the 50's it was very suspenseful for it's time. I have it on DVD and I've watched it a bunch.

Well ok if you want to be all technical and everything it wasn't truly a "remake".
Did you see the first version? How was it? I have always been a bit curious. Would you recommend it?

The Carpenter one isn't a remake of the first THING, it's another version of Who Goes There? The first one had very little gore, but was VERY suspenseful. And Carpenter's has a good bit of gore and the atmosphere is alot scarier. And Carpenter's version is closer to the original story then the Howard Hawk's version is.

So you've seen the remake but not the original...how do you know the remake is better? Some one told me there were less gore and blood in the remake, is that right?

For all those who hate the voices, for god's sake it freaking LEGOS for crying out loud! What do you want? Serious drama and suspense? IT'S FUNNY!!!!!

John Carpenter's movie, the one this lego feature was made after, IS the remake. I never saw the original but after the remake you just cant beat it.
