And this is poetry stuff; is true in someway but is more like: You have to learn to create characters and scenarys before create those; a real paint/draw experience will help a lot.

it depresses that learning 3D max , and even mastering it, does not make you a 3D artist or a professioanl animator! You has to be an artist at heart.

chad perkins is the funniest tutorial guy out there. the fact that he makes these corny jokes and laughs at himself for making them makes the tutorials that much funnier. i'm almost halfway done my 3ds max 9 essentials course, and this guy is the reason why i'm still doing it. pure jokes.
