apart from the bit about mp3, which I don't have,I could have written all this myself. Great to see Gary as a youngster playing with this band after listening to them for the last15 years on vinyl and disc. Obviously this musical genre was not lining Garys pocket enough.

Great technique aside, I always loved Gary Moore for his soulfulness, you can really see that he puts his heart into every note. I still have the original 3 vinyl LPs from this group and as soon as they were available I got them on CD and they are still on my mp3 player... Two other great bands of the same era I'd recommend, if you're not familiar with them already, are Camel from England and Focus from Holland.

Jazz/Fusion at it's best. Colosseum II is the best fusion band there is.

gary moore is an amazing guitarplayer!look this was 1978. Now you know why gar was a very big inspiration for rhandy rhodes etc.

All music is self indulgent - the trick is to induldge in something that the audience enjoys aswell as the musicians - and I enjoyed this - I think I might get a bit bored after 2 hours of it but I have the attention span of a newt.
