your hands interupt the soundwaves like when you put two walkie talkies together and they produce static but instead of static it is a more harmonious sound

great, what does it cost?

There must be an line-level output of some sort to run to an amp... Can't an effect just be connected in-line there?

this instrument has something to do with electromagnetic waves, cant remember wut but i remember that it is

Using a quality Talkbox counts, as so will practice with the combo. I bet that once you start gettin' good, you'll be able to do "Santa Maria" like a 1st-soprano opera-diva.
Here's another thought: An effect box of some-sort in-line. Yeah, I'm full of crazy ideas... But many do work. And when they do, they're outta this world!

Believe it or not, I tried that! I had a theremin, I had a talkbox. Being a fan of bizarre musical instruments, I hooked it all up...but the result was disappointing. It's actually not that great. It's good for phaser effects, but won't give a good talking sound. Then again, I'm still learning when it comes to both theremin and talkbox.
