Wow... "they lose their genious for performing someone else's work"... that shows a complete ignorance to music and recording. Every singer has recorded others music... Hank Williams recorded other peoples music! Leonard Coen's version of Hallelujah is unlistenable but Rufus Wainwright's version is amazing... that is a completely ignorant statement and negates talent

Actually Hank Williams did not write this song - he did a cover version of the original which was written by Leon Payne. Also Leon's daughter |
