Tongans should look at democracy in Western Samoa, its doing really well compared to Fiji, Tonga, and the rest of the Pacific... yup samoa was the first to gain its independenec because it was colonised, however on the otherhand tonga has never been invaded and has had its independence all the time though it became a british protectorate in 1970 but thats not gaining independence

People who put down another nation or people are morally reprehensible, sad that humans are inclined to such hatred. Sadder yet is to see a beautiful nation that enjoyed centuries of peace fall to a few bullies. The biggest threat to man is man. Polynesia and its people were wrecked by Europeans, damage that is still felt today. I always imagined Tonga as a peaceful place, I really hope it finds its glory again.
