With the last name Anderson, I assume that some of my ancestors were scandinavian. Most white people in the American South are a mixture of northern european ethnic groups. I am a Christian, but also greatly respect the ancient European religions. I know Christianity didn't come from Europe, but for many years it was the major religion of Europe. I am very proud of my race and ancestors and everything they have achieved.

I have noticed that old german culture and scandinavian culture are very similar, they are even similar in physical features, is it possible that they too are of viking ancestry?

Originally Finns came from the east and are related to hungarians. But after 1000 years if Swedish colonizations the people in Finland today have more ethicly in common with Swedes then any other people.
