yes, I goofed... I was thinking in comparison to the iMac line when I typed that, but later checked and 1.6 or 1.8Ghz, ugh! So far, the MacBook Air hasn't had any glitches, probably since there are few parts to fail and the design is so strong. Apple is selling "high end quality", and "deep design" that's why their machines work so well and have so few issues. Looks is equal to how well it works. That's always been Apple's strong suit. And the MBA is one of Apple's best design achievements.

it doesn't even hold up to a 2.6 ghz. the highest it goes is 1.8 ghz if i'm not mistaken... there are plenty ppl who have had heavy trouble or a glitch with the first coming out some big toys. apple wants you to buy their logo, and we do it, because they have great computers to offer. with amazing LOOKS. but in my opinion the macbook air is not for someone who is looking for a bit more features...which is where the other macs come in handy

there hasn't been any glitches so far. there was some 3rd party software that needed to be updated, but the hardware has been glitch free. fyi, it's a 80GB, not 60GB, and 2.6Ghz, not 2.1. and no, this unit will never have a dvd/cd drive... what would be the point???

it's a very speedy machine, and has tons of features, the light weight and long battery life are just bonuses. i love the light up keyboard the most.

mac is good. mac air is bad. i guess its good but only for a very select few ppl who want something very light and have no desire for features. but for like 95% of ppl it is not going to perform the way they need a mac to for them

yes. Just search on youtube or on the web for "macbook tricks"
