Yeah. Tool are awesome. Anyhow, I wasn't the one that gave your comment the thumbs down. Your opinion is your own. All I'm sayin' is that indulgent displays of technical expertise aren't aways needed for awesome music in some people's eyes. Gordon Lightfoot kicked ass for 30 years with a 3 guitar band but it wasn't exactly mind blowing. On the other hand Dream Theater has face melting guitars with only Petrucci.

Did I not say dont get me wrong?...theyre a great band and all but cmon 3 guitarist and thats all you can put out?..slipknot is the same way...and as far as tool goes...yes the guitar is a bit lacking...but christ man u cannot deny the godliness of the drums bass or vocals...

These guys have cranked out some of the sweetest riffs in recent music history. They write music that they want and some people dig it. ToolFan digs tool I take it. Tool kick ass but they're still not the most musically impressive band out there on their instruments. Art is art. No right and wrong way to make a song.

Now dont get me wrong...they make some good music...but yet again this is one of those bands that doesnt use theyre full potential...cmon they have 3 people on guitar...I want some shit that will blow my mind.
