as one who was a kid and listened to his voice, I never had the education to know what was being said, or maybe some of the stories of the music, but I do know music of the soul, and it's with that, we connected, tha man had a gift from the Heavens, and when it was time it was taken with him back to the heavens...what a blessing to have the clips, I thoroughly appreciate it, a special thanks to Tenor65, for the treat.
peace

The end of Granada should feature a "C" but I admit it sounds a half step higher. The real D flat is at the end of Addio Addio.

Moreover during the film he invited D. Morrow to his house to fraternize with wife and children. This gesture totally contradicts all the lies of him not respecting her

I'm sorry but not all concerning D. Morrow versus Mario is true, perhaps only when they first met for he wanted another partner for the film and they gave him another completely different. As I have been reading he was a very sweet gentle man and is unimaginable such a person treating others badly let alone having bad manners towards colleagues Looking at him is impossible to admit such a nonsense.

The sad part of the appearance of Doretta Morrow with Mario Lanza in this picture "Because Your Mine" is that Mario Lanza did not like her at all during the making of this film. Those close to the tenor at this time have claimed that in order to make Doretta cringe, he ate raw garlic before filming very close scenes with her.

Granada was transfered at a much faster speed. He is supposed to hit a B-flat or perhaps B-natural. I don't have a pitch with me, but can assure that in this recording he goes to a least a D-flat

that's doretta morrow, a great soprano..this is her first last film..she passed away at the age of 36..what a waste ! she appeared on broadway in The King I, Kismet, Marco Polo..copies of which are not available..

De facto para quem gosta de ver e ouvir Mario Lanza, sua estupenda voz de tenor emociona, transmite-nos uma sensação de grandeza de voz imcomparável. Mario Lanza, foi e continua a ser o cantor/tenor de minha preferência.
