This is the official music video of "(This Is) The Dream of Evan and Chan" by Dntel (aka: Jimmy Tamborello of the postal service) with special guest vocals by Ben Gibbard (of Death Cab For Cutie). I can't stop listening to this song and I am sure it will become a favorite of yours too! ENJOY!

You're my love interest. Psych.

I could have sworn that the song was "This is the dream of Evan and Chad". This belief is kind of validated in that the love interest is a male, and that would imply a homosexual relationship, unless the singer is speaking from a female's point of view.

Great song, it's cool how this song was a bit of a prelude to the Postal Service.

this is the song that Daniel Handler writes about in his book 'Adverbs'. Nice, I thought it's gonna be worse

Well I basically just went on they had on the website but nvm :) and if you look i said "I got into them yesterday" i havn't been listening to them for 3 years.. I meant overplayed by ME. And i totally agree, Bring out another album! :D

Wrong. This was a DNTEL song which Tamborello asked ben gibbard to do the vocals for. After that they started sending each other music-gibbard giving lyrics and acoustic, Tam providing everything else- via mail(the us postal service). That's how it started. The PS album was made like 3 years ago man... how could it not be overplayed at this point. PS is awesome and needs another album.

I agree. Life is Full of Possibilites was my favorite Dntel album because of it's style. I liked The Postal Service album because it kind of met halfway between Dntel and Death Cab for Cutie. What I dislike is how Dntel changed his style for Dumb Luck. It's almost like he's trying to make up for the fact that there won't be another Postal Service album for a while. If you want to mix indie and electronic again, just make another Postal Service album!

I really dont understand, i got into postal service like yesterday and i dont want to listen to their music because i feel overplaying it makes it crap.. the postal service is a side project that wasnt really supposed to go anywhere, it was made by the Ben gibbard of death cab.. they dont cover each others music because its the same thing.. at least thats what ive been told. This is on TPS album too (Give Up). Vocals remind me of Her space Holiday.
