I believe lithium is also prescribed for schizophrenia and other similar disorders, if memory serves. Which would make sense, if you really think about it. The song never specifically states WHO she's singing about. It could be a ficticious entity so that she doesn't have to be alone, much like her other song, "Hello." Just some food for thought. ^_^
