u forget that property taxes go for the funding in school. So those black kids that live in the projects (where no property taxes are paid) are given old books, crowded classrooms and not always the best teachers. While the white kids living in the burbs have the best of everything. I have experienced both and know that its not just the culture, its the way america works, every school should get the same amt of money. ur an idiot though. fox is a racist channel that is republican.

In 2007, 34 percent of American public school 4th graders scored below basic in reading on the NAEP. So blame the lock in a culture of not teaching properly to the teachers union. Don't blame ordinary citizens for that mess. There is only one area where unions have not waned in influence in recent years-- unions of those working for government-- who can simply force the taxpayers to eat their increased costs. Consider teachers, postal workers, and bureaucrats...

Oh racism exist, it exist everytime one of those hustlers decide it's time to end this arguement and pull out the ole tried and true,the 'race card.' The public school sys is designed by the very ppl you put into office. It's run by the lefty loons in the NEA. And has been forever. Personally, however, Im trying to imagine a system of public schools that could teach 4th grade kids how to read after spending $40,000 or more on their education...it's that bad. Our money just being wasted...cont.
