intel made first moron the q6500 at 2.00 ghz and as well the very first one they made is pentium extreme wich is the same as phenom. so basicly amd is way behind. just so you know. pentium 4 ht= 1cpu- 2 logic cores pentium extreme= 1cpu- 4 logic cores coreduo or core2duo or pentium D= 2cpu- 2 logic cores. core2quad and core2quadextreme= 4 cpu and 4logic cores. the non extreme edition owns so much the best phenom out there. 12 megs of l2 cache 3.00ghz speed and 1600 fsb.

just look at call of duty 4. look how smooth it runs. and even there is a bullshit thing optomized for nvidia. its actually a malicious software. that run a bencmark of you peak performance and halves it. exemple. it will see your refresh rate is at 60 hertz then it will lock your fps at 30 fps. even with vsync disabled. while if you remove that spyware one way or another. you get real fps such as 120 fps all time at 1280/1024.

man y do people hate so much ati is not bad right now 4870 kills price/performance $600 gtx 280 or $300 ati 4870 and only few fps diff and im not a fan boy i have a nvidia build myself GO AWAY NOOB

The ati cards are in fact allot faster but all the games are more optimized for nvidia so the ati cards get less fps but see half- life 2 the ati cards perform better in half-life 2 i hope that more games will be fully optimized for ati cards because the ati cards does have real horsepower
