Actually, that wasn't exactly true. If you see a sign mispelled and think, "that is wrong", that would be correct. "Buddha can be wrong". It is just an observation. On the other hand, if you get terribly irritated by the sign and go buy a gun and try to find the creator of the sign so you can rid the world of such ignorance, it becomes dangerous. The lesson here is: If you find yourself in judgement, look closely at what it is made up of. There is something deeper there.

memama2 You are right. Judgement only comes back on itself. It does no good. If that is the truth, why do you seem to be trying to prove Eckhart wrong? What is beneath that? Some kind of discomfort?

1 of the MOST illuminating statements that Toole has ever made with regard to the certainity of his views & his "right-ness" is found in"Dialoges With Emerging spiritual teachers",when the author asked HOW Tolle knows that what he believes is indeed "true".Tolle responded,"the certainty of it is complete".he added"even if I met the Buddha & he said,you are wrong,I would say,"Oh, isn't that interesting,even Buddha can be wrong".In"A New Earth"he cautions readers:I am rite,U are wrong is DANGEROUS

It is all God's play. "You sound like Hitler". "Looking at your account". "I can't believe". "Pooh pooh pa do". Memama too. "How are you"? "Doing well, thank you". It is just the One talking to itself in various forms that it is creating. That's all. This One knows perfectly well what it is doing. "Oh, I think I will relax into this experience instead of trying to make something up". This is way easier. I like easy.

skyjams: would you elaborate on your point, to give the "enlightened" what is WRONG with this German/Canadian? they seem to be BLOCKED when it comes to the problems with his new age religion....p.s did you see the expose about all the fibs in the book, at stushie.wordpress? should be included if the FACTS....before he(ET) teaches his fiction...

I'll give you a hint, the symbol of the snake was the last bridge Buddha had to cross before enlightenment. Another hint perhaps would be, the Sahara used to be a Rainforest paradise where the majority of humans lived, in case you don't know, it is a desert now. I had quite a good experience last night that I thought I should share.Imagine you just driven off a cliff, go through the motions in your thought, or your just about to do die, if you just allow it to happen then there is a profound sense of peace even though you have faked it in your head. You can then apply it to normal things every moment (or just this one) that u resist, it is surrender basically, but perhaps the dysfunction of the mind in you becomes more obvious this way? :)
