Mingus played with Miles on the albums Dig and Blue Moods from the early 50s. He also was the pianist (!) on one track of the Miles Davis album Blue Haze. Maybe there is more, but those are the ones I know about.

i think that Miles played with Mingus at the Birdland Club, in the early 50's, possible with Art Blakley on the drums. maybe it's available now on cd that concert.

its weird the amount of muscians that have spawned from a miles davis group... paul chambers, coltrane, dave holland, herbie, tony williams. nearly everyone i can think of played with him at one point. did mingus play with miles?

thats a common misconception, i think only two songs were first takes, the others were just the masters, and not edited

Most black people have completely degraded themselves from this point. Why did it become cool to start speaking horrible english on purpose? And rap is just a bunch of talentless con-artists. |
