slightly related, if you like Bowie, youd probably like Bauhaus and the sisters of mercy too. They are real Goth rock :) Bowie had a huge influence on that, as well as this genre.

If you like 80's, try searching YouTube for the following: U2 "I will follow", The Fixx - "One Thing Leads To Another", Duran Duran - "Careless Memories", Peter Gabriel - "Shock The Monkey". And there's Blondie - "Hangin' On The Telephone" and "Dreaming" - which is really 1978 and 79, but Blondie was a major force in creating the 80's sound, they were ahead of everyone else.
