Not exactly. Whatever Namine drew in her sketchbook, that is what would happen, so when Sora came in, like shown in Namine's sketchbook, he was trapped in that chamber, and slept for a few years, as did Goofy, Jiminy, and Donald. I'm not sure how many years they slept.
