I assume you know everything then!
You must have studied everything from both sides to know that others are "aimlessly shooting in the dark".
Make sure you know who you are speaking to before you tell someone they don't know what they're talking about.

"....It's become borderline fascism. You can't think anything else. When it gets hotter it's global warming. When it gets colder it's global warming. When everything is global warming then nothng is global warming."

"Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change - which is a global organisation comprising over 3000 scientists"
this statemment is exceptionally inaccurate. But this is the case of those on the Al Gore side, they wander around aimlessly shooting in the dark, being uninformed of what is really going on!
huskermaniac28 (August 26, 2008 at 8:22 pm)
so what, are we supposed to go back to living like the stone ages? i mean come on, even if global warming is actually happening (which im skeptical), and if good ol' al gore can live up to his undeserved nobel prize and actually get the whole world to follow, the only thing it will do is slow it down a little bit. you cant expect people to quit using gasoline-run cars and nonrenewable resources that have been so useful ever since they were discovered just to combat the global warming theory.
Razieluk (August 26, 2008 at 1:37 pm)
I am assuming you have seen the data and reports from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change - which is a global organisation comprising over 3000 scientists - which agree that the earth is getting warmer and humans are partly responsible.
Just because the earth maybe cooler in the last 10 years, it doesn't mean it's not hotter than the last several THOUSAND years!
TheStarsHaveFaces (August 24, 2008 at 10:54 pm)
the earth is cooler now than in 1998. According to NASA satellite temperature sensors and Hadley in the UK there has been no year since 1998 that has been warmer than 1998. Also those NASA sensors show quick cooling in the earth since january 2007.
All this time though since 1998 co2 levels have been rising.
