so with all that, im just not willing to stand up to the archdiocese as a seminarian. But, God willing I become a priest, i will do my best to uphold the teachings of the Christ founded church, the Roman Catholic Church. If this means I'm going to upset some people, well, everyone knows that Jesus didn't have the majority of jews support during his time. so i ask for your prayers, that my long journey to the priesthood may be good so that i may be ready to serve God and His Holy Church.

Thank You very much. Please continue to pray for me. You know you may be right as far as not forbiding a priest. However, i think that it's more of a demand kind of thing. I live in Los Angeles, the most liberal archdiocese hands down. All it takes here is one person at your parish to protest the mass, and it'll be gone unless you have the majority of support. ANd i should say, our beloved Cardinal isn't too fond of our Pope's summorum pontificum. And there's a lot of politics over here...

Im voting for a guy named Allen Keys, who said his "FIRST" priority would be to end abortion, and he's definitely bought me out.

first of all, congratulations to u on being a seminarian and answering Gods call. we all need to pray and support our priests and future priests. secondly (and someone please correct me if im wrong), but acording to Cardinal Alphonse Stickler, and a 9 cardinal papal-commission (1995) "no bishop or cardinal can forbid any priest from saying the tridentine mass" also, Pope Benedict XVI's Summorum Pontificum further opens the door for the Latin Mass. may God bless u and guide u on your path.

I can't believe that real Catholics seem to be sitting out this election - just don't seem to care that Obama, who always votes for the most BRUTAL kinds of late-term abortion, may get elected. Some even SUPPORT him!
Have we just walked away from our values? Does no one think this is important?
Yet Black churches the Nation of Islam, are screaming from their pulpits that Obama is the Messiah -- literally, using those words!
How can Christians stand idle?
We MUST stop this evil.

Thank you. It is always good to hear motivation for the more symbolic mass. This mass is very much "not liked" here in Los Angeles Archdiocese, but there are the few of us that are trying to change that, but we don't have a cardinal who supports us. But he's retiring in 3 years, and im praying that the next cardinal will be filled with the Holy Spirit and realize that these Sacred tradtions need to be reinforced! Please my brothers pray for the archdiocese of Los Angeles.

Dios todopoderoso te haga su herramienta en la construcción del Reino de Dios, en devolver la esperanza a los pobres, en dar paz a los que sufren, en revivir nuestra santa fe

Nowe it is possible to do both rites, ancient and the New one. Dear brother, the people need the symbolic mass, the return to the spiritual because we live in drakness. If You want to celebrate the divine rite, please, understand it is God Itself who appeals your heart! |
