ya ya.. just things to say to deny canon's mistake. i personally don't support liveview (in fact i hate it) but i'm pointing out that sony thinks 5 steps beyond

sony is noisy, liveview it is not what u need to look in dslr cameras

sony's a350 does a better job at live view. most importantly, it's got a tilting screen. look at the woman in the vid and how she puts the camera real low when shooting the cat. if she had a350, she coulda tilted the screen, better ergonomics sony: innovative canon: fail

Canon actually really improved on the 450D standard lens this time by also adding Image Stabilization. If you are adamant about Nikon go with the D80, but even the XSi has better professional reviews than the D80. Check out dpreview or Steve's Digicams for more info.

I would say so. I've worked with the XSi, and it is amazing.
