The average temperature has been steadily increasing at an alarming rate, we must stop this trend and reverse it or the things shown in that movie will become all too real. but no worries we do have solutions on the way, there are some serious considerations of building a light/heat filter in space that will keep the planet cool while we adjust our carbon output.

okay global warming is all right only if it happens slowly, like the people before this comment it was warmer in the middle ages but it happened naturally and gradually allowing life to adapt. Right now the earth is warming way too fast for any of the life forms to adapt. For us it is Very bad because everything that we have made is meant to run under the specific and colder conditions in the past 200 years, how we get our water where we farm our land is all based on that low temperature.
