i agree since I live in america and have ready access to a library, which has had far more of an effect on my education than a computer.

From Bangladesh:
The total cost of this apparently benevolent project (including hardware development, marketing, hiring Yves Behar etc) have probably exceeded millions of dollars. Wouldn't it be better served building libraries in developing nations? You know, a book (Those series of pages with black squigly lines) is a proven technology for thousands of years.
With 100 dollars we can buy 100 books for a kid. Why should my govt spend millions for your American idea of tech education?

This is interesting! I'm not doing XO development, but I was looking for a nice fast how-to for pygame, and this taught me most all I need to know in like three minutes. Win! =D

py2exe works for Windows. For Linux, or any OS for that matter, you'll want to look into "freezing" Frozen binaries are essentially created by tacking the bytecode of your app onto a specially-compiled version of the PVM.

Python and PHP have wildly different syntax for even the most basic things and are implemented in entirely different manners.
PHP: $a-$f("foo" . "bar"); // comment
Py: a.f('foo' + 'bar') # comment
