I wondered the same thing too Nzartfuldando, but I think that because the person is still technically alive even while traveling and there is still a connection between body and spirit the person will still have vital signs even if they are just minimal...

scTrippen, just because that's what happens during your obe or b/c you read it somewhere, doesn't mean it's the same for everyone. and i wasn't afraid of dying, just afraid of the situation. having said that, feeling afraid did nothing to bring me back in and for me there were no 'silver cords'. i had no boundries during my obe either.

bullshit, becuase as soon as you begin to feel afraid your astral body gets shocked back to your real body where you are safe, and you can never die during an oobe because your are constantly connected to your body through a spiritual silver like cord.

Yea man it's happend to be and my dad. He's had alot of OBEs and also has gotten stuck in his own body. Me?I've had a small second of an OBE seeing myself asleep.Other than that I've just been stuck lol I don't usually panic,I just keep trying to push myself to awake and it works.Sometimes it takes a few minutes,but I just keep trying lol.

So that was just his spirit leaving his body and walking around, just like what supposedly happens when you die. I wonder if his wife woke up, if she would see his corpse and spirit standing there?

This type of thing happened to me, i tried to move and talk but i couldn't One time i heard music playing and the time i heard loads of people talking all at once. its really weird.

I've had them since I was a kid and have had all different kinds - some b/c I had to go to the toilet really bad and others just happened for no special reason. About 8 yrs ago they got really bad and I would encounter bad spirits and it was very traumatising. I used to dread sleeping b/c they happened so much. But my biggest issue was getting back into my body - my spritual head and physical head would never go back together and I'd panic! Scary!

That sounds insane but how can I refute it and how can you prove it
