First off that is a "Quint" not snorkel, a combination Engine Co, and Ladder Co. Maybe their crew will stretch a backup line and/or perform truck company ops, ever think of that? Buildings need not be 5 stories in height in order to have ladder apparatus respond. The ladders are for reach and access. My first due area is all single story ranch homes but guess what we have ladders parked out front everytime. Better do some research or go back to the academy.

First of all at 40 seconds, you can see water coming from the second story window, so an interior attack is on. Why didn't the fire go out? Lack of experience. When the camera changes angles, you can see guys getting out. I don't think the roof was opened, I think it just blew threw. With all the loads standing out front, where is the fast team with tanks on, reading to go in and save a brother should something happen? Piss poor job. And yes I have fought more fires than any vol could think of.
