Look at the great childhood John had. His father was never around. For most of his childhood, he lived with his Aunt Mimi and his Uncle George. As a teenager, his uncle (the only fatherly influence John really had) died. His mother, Julia, also died.

Not believing in organized religion, ie yours, Christianity, doesn't mean John didn't believe in God or an afterlife. Besides, people's minds change and evolve as life goes on. John believed in himself, what was wrong with that? Do you believe in yourself?

I'm with you- the bloody government means no good; they are NOT interested in our well being, they are interested in the power they reside over us- I hope that now some of the most noctoriously awful government has gone/is going out of power, John will be able to rest, finally. |
