Beethoven is as awesome as that woman who is deaf, blind, and mute, who became a teacher and authour. I mean, he couldn't even hear, (well, his hearing slowing descesnding into nothingness anyways), and he can compose such great music.

Starting at 15:09, Beethoven just killed it! He's so amazing and incomparably gifted. One can only dream of having this type of timeless talent... where hundreds of years later, people of all ages are listening to his music!! Symphony No. 9 4eva!

you know, there's art in almost every form of organized beliefs, even in acts that most civilized persons would consider inhumane. Just the sheer fact that someone is able to conceptualize and bring to life movements as great, and horrific, as the Holocaust, slavery, genocide, and oppression in general shows great minds at work. it's an expression of of ill art. w/in that, it's no wonder that a man as Karajan can bring such beauty from this music to audiences during those most difficult times.
