About the european slaughterhouses:
There are huge differences between different countries, but I don't really know much about the "american way". (Don't want to watch the videos...)
I'm from Sweden and here we have quite good routines, and we hope to influence other european countries to improve their routines too.

Maybe they look healthy and so on, but there is one thing they didn't say in the video...
The calfes are so big that 86% of them have to be delivered through surgery! And don't think for a minute that they perform the c-section in an OR... It takes place in the barn with the cow standing up, mostly in her usual place.
No sterile environment there....
