5-axis machining Makino D500 accuracy test

Makino's new D500 5-axis vertical machining center performing the NAS Cone Machining Accuracy Test. In this test the machine's accuracy is tested while using all five axes simultaneously. The tests resulted in an measured roundness value of 4.73 microns across six D500 machining centers.
