i'll admit the R rating is a bit harsh. i was relieved to find out that the movie was not too graphic. but let's face it, the R rating makes sense bc there are characters that attempt suicide and...I hate to give out a SPOILER, but someone in the movie almost gets raped

There's tits in it. Animated tits. For the whole of like 3 seconds. But you can't have kids seeing tits, no no! In the US of A. Bloodbaths is cool - hey, we need soldiers to fight in our economy-bolstering wars, you know? - but no tits!

Agreed. Although, the other thing that both Spirited Away and Paprika share in common is that they are both amazing.
There are a lot of extremely narrow-minded people out there.

The only thing Paprika shares with Spirited away is the fact that it is animated and made in japan.
It's like saying Man on Fire is much like Dumb Dumber.

I remember I would watch this trailer sooo much, even though I had never seen the movie, or knew what it was about :P
I remembered the movie about .. I don't know 6 months later and saw it..it was awesome!! ^^,

It's an awesome movie, though, like Wings of Honneamise (my favorite anime movie ever) its eccentricities prevent it from being an film that all audiences can enjoy.
Personally I love the nonsense spewed by the people at the institute when they're getting mind-raided. |
