I'm 57 and American Bandstand would be on when we got home from school. I loved it and Dick Clark. On Saturday we watched "The St. Louis Hop".

Back in the days when "AMERICAN BANDSTAND" was a 90 minute daily show originating from Philadelphia, Dick Clark would deliver live commercials for the various sponsors- and this is a typical example from about 1959 or '60. |
