So all your anger towards slipknot is simply cos they do better than your meshuggah, nile or kalmah? get a grip dude, people have always been into different styles. I could bash your tastes into lowest oblivion but I won't, simply cos I am not at the same level as you are

The fact of the matter is that Slipknot just sucks out and out. Their music is on the same level as an eleven year old would think. Blind anger, mindless obscenity, and hiding themselves behind grotesque masks for shock value. Musically, the 9 of them couldn't hope to match the likes of Meshuggah, Nile, or Kalmah. It's still beyond the comprehension of anyone sane and not a Slipsnot fanboy while people still cling to the fact that this is metal, when it is clearly not.

To all those who think Slipknot sucks live and have taken this video as their 'proof'... Allow me to pop that deluded, egoic bubble.. Watch this song from the London Arena a year and a half later and try not to cry in humility.

Fuck your pointless genres, man.. Splitting hairs with utter pretension.

You're an idiot.. For one, this is wayyyy early on, and Corey's voice entirely wasn't as used to that intensity yet. Why don't you watch something from DISASTERPIECES and only open your mouth when you know something.

Go suck satan's cock... you'll find it in Hollywood somewhere. You watch a lot of TV don't ya?
cyanic11 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
These were the earlier days... Corey's 'Slipknot' voice was still evolving. If you watch the Disasterpieces DVD which was just over a year later, he 'sings' Wait and Bleed with ease.

No they don't... But Joey is very good, yes. |
