If they were willing to do that, we may not have gotten into this situation to begin with.
Most people don't know this, but when the UIGEA passed on September 30th, 2006, and the APCW began putting out videos to educate players, we BEGGED... WE BEGGED all the casinos and affiliate programs to just EMAIL their players information on the law and a LINK to our video...
NONE of them... NOT ONE of them would do it. It would have been so simple to do and cost them NOTHING...

How about getting some of the European gaming companies to run some adds here locally? They sure have the cash to buy air time.
Just s thought.

I thought IMEGA hired an advertising firm. Should've been all over the media by now. If more people found out how the government used sneeky politics to strip us of our Constitutional freedom, then there would be more pressure for the polititians to overture this stupid law. The government has no leg to stand on, yet they're geting away with murder. Sad so sad. We need to find a way to get this to the main stream media.

Thank you Mr.Soda! Merry Christmas to you and your's as well =0)
Yea, I agree the industry will survive. It's just so wild to see it all unfolding before our eyes, with the main stream media firmly under the control of corporate America and turning a blind eye to the truth of the matter.
So sad... this is my country...

Hopefully a regulated industry would put an end to that, too.

Yea, that solo album had one of my all-time favorites: To Feel This Way. But I think they were producing their greatest stuff near the end, with songs like Think it Over and Love is Everywhere.
It was amazing to watch them grow into that after such a raw, cutting style in the early '80s... Moder Romans... False gods... a song very much about America and so ominous and relivant for today.
But my favorite album will always be: Into the Woods.

Hi J.Todd
I see the industry blowing off the uigea and finding new ways to fund accounts. People will play if they want and the industry is getting creative with money orders, gift cards and such. Like you have always said prohibition doesn't work. By the way Merry Christmas and heres to a prosperous 2008!
