it's not the guitar playing. the songwriting is what makes kurt important. i think kurt got what he needed out of his instrument. and so does mustaine.

Will (coming from a HUGE Nirvana fan) Kurt wasn't a guitarist that would compare to the likes of Dave, Eddie Van Halen or Randy Rhoads. Its just grunge, not metal. Yeah their stuff is sometimes kinda simple but I just can't compare because Kurt wasn't looking to shred. Dave is a shredder, Kurt just plays. And I think Kurt is damn good though xD

what about dave mustaine hmmh I think he is a much better guitarist than kurt cobain. nirvana were just so popular because they hit in some way the nerve of time.
Nirvana is great but hey a Dave Mustaines guitar style is so complex and Kurts in some way boring

Obviously his amp....can you not read? On kurts equipment site it says the Fender twin reverb he had was only used for unplugged and the in utero recording. When in reality , it wasn't it was his main amp until the nevermind tour.

at 1:27 u can see kurt used the fender twin reverb fo more than just the in utero recording, that was around the bleach era because of the epiphone ET.

eugenicincest or who ever fuck, don't fucking bring racism to Nirvana territories k?? for grunge, race , sex , age, religion or what ever fuck aint a fucking matter
ihavesticks (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
that is by far the dumbest thing ive ever heard
And also the way you said it sounds incredibly condesending and racist, Not really sure what you wanted people to get from your statement.
I mean "the white/caucasian soul is indeed a tortured and wicked one" what sort of a stupid thing to say is that.
eugenicincest (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Kurt was one of the heaviest "white soul" singers as i have tried to explain in my last post. of my generation anyway at least... please tell me what you think of my "white soul" idea, because "white/caucasian soul" sounds almost like an oxymoron or contradiction in terms...but white people also have soul(s)...its just that...uh...mmm...well... |
