The video shows eye gaze interaction with World of Warcraft using our "Snap Clutch" software; developed at De Montfort University, UK in collaboration with University of Tampere, Finland. The software allows us to change quickly between interaction modes to allow for a more real-time gaming experience. This research will be presented at ETRA 2008, US. Hmmm...weird...not sure what to think of that , lol. BUT! if it were possible that is pretty neat. As far as being real is concerened...if you watch his neck collar the whole time...you can see him breathing. Also, his mouse movements are a bit jagged....who knows ^-^. Where would you get one anyway? Can you imagine the possibilities for poeple who have no arms?

IF,,(BIG IF!) it is real, it is VERY COOL!. i personally wouldn't use it due to eye strain or other eye problems, or because it might seem like more hassle then touch screen/voice recognition, but its an awesome software never the less

bugger that.. less efficient personally.. plus massive strain on your eyes... dont see this being very handy... +heard clicking... explanation? what about people with muscle problems in their eyes... eg lazy eyes... and if its based around one eyes movement.. wouldnt there be problems with dominant use of certain eyes.. for example using one eye too much that the other eye is neglected.. especially with games such as wow where they would be played all day.

oh cool

...audio feedback and filtering of gaze data. Simple.
dazzleisace (September 3, 2008 at 8:15 pm)
...because the software makes an audible "click" sound when an action is made. Audio feedback is very important when using any input device.
TheMagicTrioz (September 1, 2008 at 11:02 am)
why do you hear the clicking when he like clicks the quest thing?
