I thought John Prine wrote it for Bonnie Raitt. This is as much a staple song for Bonnie as it is for Prine. I like the harmonies, but she 'talks' too many of the verses, IMHO. The power of that last verse is increased 10x when she sings it. But she's probably done this song 1,000,000 times and I guess bieng Bonnie Raitt, mixin' it up is OK ;^)

click on the words,,,more info,,,,up in the right hand corner and you will see who the other singers are,,, I recognized Bryan Adams, Jackson Browne,and Bruce Hornsby,, but not the other man,,I love Bonnie Raitt,,, have about 4 of her CDS,,, including a greatest hits,,, its great,,, she does this song with John Prine, on it,,,

John Prine wrote this song and made it famous many years ago, Bruce Hornsby is playing the accordion, and one of the singers is Jackson Brown, other then that I do not know who the other 2 singers are |
