no way. you ARE changing your point of view even if it is by using 'zoom' function. fair enough the difference between a grounded object an airborne object may not seem that much, there is a difference. plus those para soldiers open at an extremely low altitude, if they were caught in freefall while exiting the plane Im sure there would be a significant difference in there size when viewed through a zoom.

Ah, that's the problem. When you zoom in, all you are doing is magnifying the image that was taken from 500 miles. You are not actually changing your point of view. Except for the terrain and 3D buildings, all the imagery in Google Earth is just two dimensional. A plane in the air looks the same as one on the ground (except for its shadow).

well hea but if you zoom-in to the height planes fly at then the view is as if you are actualy looking from the height theat planes fly at, not the height of the satellites. get me?
