And yup ;) - that's right. I hereby proclaim that One True religion is not a construct of a man. It is the gift from God, began with Jesus founding the Church, and Holy Spirit standing on the guard of it through the centuries. That is exactly why it is true - it has not been invented by man - it has been revealed by God Himself, in the person of His only begotten Son - Jesus Christ, and Church created by Him, Church that in the hands of pope holds the keys of Kingdom of Heaven (Matthew 16:19)

The problem is that those who treat religion like some kind of harmful and tattering construct of human mind and tradition, failed in the begining to understand it's true idea, point and way. And they have themselves shut the doors of blessing, beyond them, forcing themselves to struggle against open doors. It is sad and mostly irrational choice, but those who choose it are free to do so. However, if one has truth in his heart, He will find religion to be exactly what God invented it to be.

Sorry for the 'brother' than ;). As for the delusive, non existent difference between religion and knowing God, I can only say, that Jesus clearly spoke to His disciples: "who listens to you listens to Me, but who contempts you, contempts me" (Luke 10:16). The fact that there is deep need of true, and intense personal relationship with God is undeniable. But thesis that it cannot be achieved in religion is false. Fact is that it is meant to growth exactly trough religion.

Hi I am girl by the way I had to pick this funny name and now I cant change it..anyhow there is big difference in religion and knowing God religion bases itself on self merit it empahsasis the acts of tradition and commands but knowing God its a heart matter thats why cavaziel has had this experience he ahd aheart to heart with God without the ties to religion just jesus...the truth the light and the way

I'm deeply joyful for you brother ;), that you're in so close intimate relationship with our Lord makes me really happy ;). The only thing I'd counter in your post is this strange (and somewhat of growing popularity) thesis, that there is distinction between "religion" and "knowing God". Topic is wide, and character limits on youtube small ^_^... but I'd strongly recommend not to create artificial distinctions between things that are in fact the same.

wow this guy went through alot...when you are in prayer that can happen such a connection with God and you gotta be in a relatiosnhip with him a couple of days ago I felt my spirit just soo uplifted thats Gods beauty chirst is not religion he is real, he came to save what was lost and now that I know him him and his truth I am not going back....I knew religion before now I know God Encompasses love real love....... |
