The C, E, and Aflat buttons should have dips so that you can see where you are. My C has a dip. Theres no difference as far as sound or anything. My E and Af have really small dots on them that I can feel. It may have a dip because the stone fell out of it.

i have an accordion that is almost 50 years old. still works perfectly. is there a segnificant difference bettween mine and his. mine has little dips on some of them and... well its hard!

Ok this is for the piano accordion. With you left hand number the fingers starting with your thumb from 1-5. 1 as your thumb and 5 as your pinky finger. When you play the left hand side you want to used #4(next to pinky) to play the chord and the middle finger(#3) to play the major chord. Minor and 7th chords are played with the pointer(#2). That is how the 4-3 method works. If you want I can make a video showing this to you. What part of the world are you located in?
