An update of my continuing ownership of the E71-2 which has proven to be the best phone for me thus far. I talk about the Nokia Sports Tracker app as well other features that are useful to me.

Excellent review Trent, I like your reviews, very thorough, perhaps next time when time permits you can do a review on the PIM function of the E71 along with some 3rd party software favorites. Cheers, Jorge Miami, FL

This all depends on your preference, and it sounds like you've already answered your own question since you really like qwerty over virtual keypads. You may want to try and find an Apple or ATT store and play with the iPhone in person.

I mean qwerty keyboards. Geez, how does someone misspell qwerty?

Thanks for the review. I've been deciding between the e71 and iphone 3G. The main thing I like about the e71 is the qwerty, speed (I have an e61i) and messaging. I'm sure the iphone's web-browsing is more satisfying, but it sounds like you enjoy the e71 more than the iPhone. I would mainly use the phone for calls, email, messaging and browsing- You think the e71 would make me happier? (I have tried the virtual keypad on the iphone and probably could adjust, but I really like querty keyboards)

Yeah your right, I met a friend a friend last night she got an iphone its nice and sexy but so sad cause cannot use bluetooth with other device like nokia and sony ericson and other mobile. Can only using the same units and I got problem in messaging also cause I its so small to press and using to hand. mmmmmmh People here in Philippines really love to text and email. not on call its bit expensive.

The first thing to address in your situation is your overall purpose for using a smartphone. What features do you see yourself using on a daily basis?
