I cited a famous historical demonstration of just what sort of testimony torture produces, i.e. whatever the torturer wants to hear.
In contrast, you have cited no examples of claims extracted by torture that were subsequently verified. Say, "Uncle"...

I applaud you. A washington newspaper (I can't remember the name)back in april 2004 revealed from anonymous source that 98% of people in Gitmo were people who didnot knew anything and were "the wrong people at the wrong place at the wrong time". However they had been so much tortured that if released, they will fight against Americans.

Wow.. I can't stand push.. But one thing I hate about him is the one thing I like. He sticks to his guns. No matter how much of an idiot he is.. No matter how outside the norm. No matter how wrong. He doesn't apologize and he doesn't change. Unwaivering and focused.

God, you're IQ is no more than your age, and I doubt you're a senior citizen.
There's no evidence that people we tortured knew anything about terrorists, just as there was no real evidence that these women knew anything about witchcraft.
The people we held and tortured were turned over to us by poor people for reward money. Most of those we tortured were let go because they had nothing. That you can excuse torturing people because you fantasize that it keeps you "safe," belies reality. Dope |
