Your poor attempt at paradoxical Christology made no sense whatsoever.

First of all, I ask this question from the Christians "Can god do something Evil", ofcourse u will say no because it's not in the nature of god to do something evil, god is good. So I ask you this, can god become a man? No,because it's not in the nature of god to enter his creation or to become a man, woman, animal, and ect.. so even if he can, he will not become a man.

THE SKY IS FALLING , THE SKY IS FALLING..look chicken little, get over it. Jesus died, he's gone, he's NOT coming back. Neither is your gramma. Im sorry, but that is the real world. Ignorant religious superstitions (AKA Fairy tales) have NOTHING to do w the real world. "BUT I BELIEVE "you might say? Too bad. Your foolish beliefs dont make it real. Grow the fuck up and dont be such a retard. Religion is a lie. A feel good answer to help those who are scared of the dark. Wake up and stop the lies.

Two hundred years before the time of Jesus the Jews used a Greek translation of their Hebrew scriptures (the Septuagint). In thi work the Jews translated the key phrase "I am" of Exodus as HO ON. However, the supposed words of Jesus in John 8:58, "I am", have been given to us in Greek as EGO EIMI.
If the gospel writer of John 8:58 wanted to tell his Greek-speaking audience that Jesus had imitated God he would have used the familiar words of the Septuagint, otherwise the point is lost.

My original post didn't seem to show up. In short:
1. The OT used by the NT writers was the Koine Greek Septugiant.
2. The Greek loosely translated to "I am" in Exodus 3:15 and John 8:58 is exactly the same - "egw eimi" (That didn't work as youtube can't handle Koine font).
Essentially, you are ignorant of the context of the New Testament.

But here is the key to another deception. The original of the first text is in Hebrew while the original of the second is in Greek.
According to Judaica Press Complete Tanach, the passages is,
14. God said to Moses, "Ehyeh asher ehyeh (I will be what I will be)," and He said, "So shall you say to the children of Israel, 'Ehyeh (I will be) has sent me to you.'"
Stick to the name of God in verse 6
"I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob."

How can you say your god Allah is almighty and then finish the sentence with -oh, but he can't enter his creation...?
Honestly, the Zakir Naik VCR argument is quite funny. Personally, I advise against ever using it if you want to be taken seriously.

No, the tetragrammaton Yahweh (YHWH) is the name of God.
The "I am who I am" of Exodus 3:14, the "I am" Jesus revealed himself as in John 8:58. |
