i guess u can bake them but is not gunna come out cripy like u frie them. and i believe spring roll is everything fresh accept meat NOT FRIESS!! fries is for egg roll.

The vietnamese spring rolls that have taro in them are the best! Has anyone tried it with taro filling? It's really the best!

The skins and the hot oil is enough to cook the meat sufficiently, if they cooked the meat before then I reckon it'd be all dry when re-cooked in the skins.

I'm surprised they don't cook the meat first. I guess you have to get the temperature just right, so the outside doesn't cook too fast.
