okay... so I've heard a lot of theories about this... but my favorite was told to me when I was about 8 years old by my sister... lil' response to Paperlillies cont' of the idea... so sorry for the short ones! I think your feet are cute. :) I had always heard if your second toe was longer you were really smart. Old wives' tale I guess.

Simple case of Morton's toe: Morton's Toe is a common forefoot disorder where the second toe is longer than the Big Toe (the Hallux). Morton's toe leads to excessive pressure on the second metatarsal head (behind the second toe at the ball- of-the-foot) resulting in pain similar to the discomfort associated with metatarsalgia. (your podiatry moment!)

weird feet/toes can be atrribited to wrong or poor fitting footwear, many girls will wear high heel shoes which put the foot in an unatural position sliding the foot forward and craming the toes in the front of the shoe, thus causing bunyans,hammer toes,and other deformations.
